I have been picking up strips of film from pavements etc since 2001 but every year I find less and less, this is of course because of the digital revolution. Sadly when you delete files from your digital camera the images are lost forever. At least with film, the mistakes, wrong decisions or bad memories continue to exist albeit as unwanted artefacts. Through a continuing lack of finding more discarded film I began to make my own. Constructing fictional memories to fill a void as digital takes over. These images strive to offer a random glimse of lives led.
